proizvodnju i transport ispušta ogromna količina ugljikovog dioksida. Otpad
Udruga Sunce, u sklopu projekta For Plastic Free Croatian Island pokrenula je
nacionalnu kampanju Zajedno bez plastike kojom se želi osvijestiti javnost o
važnosti smanjenja jednokratne plastike u svakodnevnom životu i ponuditi savjete
namijenjeni razmjeni i dijeljenju viška stvari. Ovakav način dijeljenja s
drugima popularno se naziva sharing is caring.
Rastući troškovi
proizvoda i smanjeni kućni proračuni popularizirali su ovu vrstu „robne
razmjene“ jer osim što štedimo novac, razmjenom i dijeljenjem viška stvari,
smanjujemo otpad te čuvamo okoliš.
Predlažemo da se ovih
blagdana, u duhu božićnog darivanja, pridružite jednoj ovakvoj grupi i
Action called "You
have a surplus, share with others"
Every year at Christmas
time, with the purchase of gifts, the amount of waste is doubled, which is most
often associated with packaging and a large amount of plastic decorations for
the production and transport of which a huge amount of carbon dioxide is
released. The waste that is generated after the Christmas glow disappears
leaves an indelible mark on the environment.
For this reason, the
Sunce Association, as part of the For Plastic Free Croatian Island project,
launched a national campaign Together without Plastics to raise public
awareness of the importance of reducing disposable plastics in everyday life
and offer advice on how to easily change lifestyle habits to reduce impact. on
the environment and the amount of waste.
Given that giving at
Christmas time has become a tradition, it is intended to point out that there
are other ways to find gifts besides shopping. This year, try to find a gift
for friends and family on Facebook pages and fairs that are intended for the
exchange and sharing of surplus items. This way of sharing with others is
popularly called sharing is caring.
Rising product costs and
reduced household budgets have popularized this type of "trade"
because in addition to saving money, exchanging and sharing surplus items
reduces waste and protects the environment.
We suggest that during
these holidays, in the spirit of Christmas giving, join one such group and
share with others the surplus you own or find something for yourself that you
have always wanted. For some, just what you don't need will come in handy and
vice versa.
